What floor plans does The Haven offer?

Every residence at The Haven is a brand-new four-bedroom single-family home, built for renters who want more room than a traditional apartment provides. Each home comes with an attached two-car garage, a private driveway, and a fenced-in yard with patio space. Interiors include quartz countertops, stainless-steel Whirlpool appliances, wood-style luxury vinyl plank flooring, walk-in closets with built-in shelving, double vanity sinks, a spacious laundry space with washer and dryer connections, and a programmable smart thermostat. Visit the Floor Plans page or contact the leasing team to see current availability for our homes for rent in Columbus Ohio 43220.

When can I move into a home at The Haven?

The Haven is now leasing, and the community will welcome its first residents beginning in Fall 2026. Because this is a brand-new community, homes become available for lease as construction is completed, so move-in dates are released in phases. Reach out to the leasing team for the current move-in calendar and to reserve your home.

Can I tour The Haven before I lease?

Yes. Tours are available by appointment, and the leasing team will walk you through the four-bedroom layout, interior finishes, garage and driveway space, fenced yard and patio, and the surrounding Northwest Columbus neighborhood near Bethel Road and Sawmill Road. For added flexibility, Rently self-guided touring options are also available so you can choose a time that works best for your schedule. Schedule your visit through the Contact Us page, by calling the leasing office directly, or by using the available Rently self-guided tour option.

How do I apply for a home at The Haven?

Once you choose your preferred home, you will complete the online application, submit the application fee and holding deposit, and provide any required documentation. Applications are reviewed for income, credit, rental history, and public criminal records. If an applicant does not meet eligibility requirements, the holding fee will be refunded.

How long does approval take?

Most applications are processed within 1 to 3 business days once all required documents have been received. Timing depends on verification needs, whether an applicant's background screening is in-state or out-of-state, and how quickly supporting information is submitted. Our leasing team will keep you updated as your file moves through review.

What lease terms are available?

The Haven offers lease terms ranging from 9 to 18 months, giving residents flexibility to match a lease length to their plans. Please contact the leasing office or submit an inquiry online for current lease term options.

Is there a waitlist if my preferred home is not available?

Yes. If your preferred apartment layout is not currently available, you can join the priority waitlist by submitting an online application, a $50 application fee per person, and a $150 priority reservation deposit. The leasing team will contact you when a matching home becomes available.

What makes The Haven different from other apartments in Northwest Columbus?

Most rentals in this part of the city put you inside a shared building. The Haven takes the opposite approach. Every residence is a standalone, brand-new four-bedroom home with its own attached two-car garage, private driveway, fenced-in yard, and patio, so there are no shared hallways, no shared entries, and no neighbors overhead. Lawn care, snow removal, curbside trash pickup, and maintenance are handled for you by a professional management team, which delivers the space and privacy of a house without the upkeep that comes with owning one. Paired with a Northwest Columbus location near Bethel Road, Sawmill Road, OH-315, and I-270, The Haven sits in the middle ground between single family homes for rent in Columbus Ohio and traditional apartment living.

Residents are responsible for electric, gas, water, sewer, and trash. Lawn care and snow removal are included with your lease, and curbside trash pickup is provided at our community. Please contact the leasing office for utility setup details before your move-in date.

Ask the leasing office whether your employer or service status qualifies before you apply.

Pet Policies

Is The Haven pet friendly?

Yes. The Haven welcomes your four-legged family members, and our community is one of the more comfortable pet friendly apartments in Northwest Columbus thanks to fenced yards and patio space at every home. Up to 2 pets are permitted per home with no weight limit. Contact the leasing office for the full pet policy and to confirm approval for your pet before move-in.

What are the pet fees at The Haven?

Pet costs at The Haven include a $300 one-time pet fee per pet and $35 in monthly pet rent per pet. Please reach out to the leasing team for current pet pricing and to add your pet to your lease.

Are there breed or weight restrictions?

There is no weight limit for pets, but there are breed restrictions; a current list of restricted breeds is available from the leasing office. We recommend confirming your pet's eligibility before you apply so there are no surprises during the move-in process.

What makes The Haven a good fit for dog owners?

The private fenced-in yard at each home is the biggest advantage. Rather than taking an elevator down for every walk, residents step out their own back door, with patio room for lounging while pets play. For longer outings, Antrim Park and the Olentangy Trail are a short drive away, and Highbanks Metro Park adds more trail space to the north. For anyone searching Northwest Columbus apartments that allow dogs, that combination of private yard and nearby green space is hard to match.

Home Features

How are the kitchens designed?

Kitchens at The Haven are designed as the center of the home. Each one features quartz countertops, soft-close shaker-style cabinetry, stainless-steel Whirlpool appliances, a central kitchen island, a tile backsplash, a single basin undermount sink, a gooseneck faucet with pull-down sprayer, brushed nickel hardware, and a walk-in pantry for storage. Custom pendant lighting over the island finishes the space with a polished, elevated look.

What bathroom finishes are included?

Bathrooms carry the same modern design as the rest of the home. Residents will find a tub and shower combination with a tile surround, an oversized bathroom mirror, brushed nickel fixtures, and linen closet storage. Primary bathrooms also include a walk-in shower with a rain showerhead, along with double vanity sinks.

Does each home have its own laundry space?

Yes. Each home includes a spacious dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer connections plus built-in storage, so laundry stays out of the main living areas and there are no shared machines to schedule around. Contact the leasing office for details on appliance options for your home.

How much storage space is there?

Storage is one of the clearest advantages of renting a home instead of an apartment. Every residence includes walk-in closets with built-in shelving, a kitchen pantry, linen closet storage, a laundry area with additional shelving, and an entry foyer with a coat closet. The attached two-car garage adds room for seasonal items, bikes, and gear that would otherwise take up living space.

What interior finishes and design details should I expect?

Interiors were finished with a clean, contemporary feel throughout. Wood-style luxury vinyl plank flooring runs through the main living areas, and nine-foot ceiling height keeps rooms feeling open. Custom pendant and recessed lighting, wood-style blinds, ceiling fans, and brushed nickel hardware round out the details. Because every home is brand new, finishes have never been lived in.

How is heating, cooling, and internet handled?

Central air conditioning and heating come standard in every home, paired with a programmable smart thermostat that lets residents manage temperature and energy use from a phone. Homes are also wired for high-speed internet access and are cable ready, so service can be activated with your preferred provider before move-in.

Do homes include private outdoor space?

Yes, and it belongs only to you. Each home at The Haven includes a private fenced-in yard with patio space, giving residents room for grilling, gardening, pets, or simply sitting outside without sharing outdoor space with a neighbor.

Is there room for a home office?

Four-bedroom layouts give residents genuine flexibility. Many households dedicate one bedroom to a home office, studio, or guest room while still keeping bedrooms for everyone else, and nine-foot ceilings, recessed lighting, and high-speed internet access support a comfortable work-from-home setup. Ask the leasing team to point out the room that works best as an office during your tour.

Are furnished homes available?

Homes at The Haven are offered unfurnished, which gives residents full freedom over how they use the four-bedroom layout. If you would like help outfitting your home, the leasing team can connect you with third-party furnishing providers.

Community Amenities

Which services are included at The Haven?

The Haven is built around maintenance-free living. Lawn care and snow removal are included with your lease and a professional management team oversees the community day to day. Routine maintenance is handled by on-site staff, and 24-hour emergency maintenance service is available for urgent issues. Residents get the privacy of a house with far fewer upkeep responsibilities.

What parking is available for residents and guests?

Parking is one of the strongest practical benefits here. Every home includes an attached two-car garage that opens directly into the residence, plus a private driveway that provides additional space for a third vehicle or for guests. There is no hunting for a spot, no shared garage deck, and no daily walk from a distant lot.
